She had been getting worse all month. She had Multiple Sclerosis that was just diagnosed at the end of 2008. She could not walk by March and was using a wheel chair. Now she is gone from me. We only had 10 years together, but it was the best 10 years of my life. We were best friends and best lovers. We never argued or faught. We talked about everything right up to the time of her death. Now for me...lonelyness sucks, a quiet house sucks, reinventing my life was not planned but here I go. I will be back to work in my real estate office on Monday April 13, 2009. I will be working full time and all the time. Let me know how I can help you with your real estate needs.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-55725790522566714022009-02-23T05:11:00.000-08:002009-02-23T05:14:02.716-08:00Winter weather back to normalTemperatures in the 30's at night and 50's during the day. My real estate business is hot. The month is almost over and I have listed over $2 million dollars worth of real estate for sale this month and I have sold over a half million dollars worth. Again I say the real estate market is as good as the people who are working in it. If you are considering selling or buying real estate in northeast Oklahoma, now is the time.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-69462313337556815052009-02-15T15:52:00.000-08:002009-02-15T16:06:56.748-08:00Wow what a week.<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 250px; height: 183px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhRl6HLgyJxNqJr3YO-7iopTKzFG4XOItax4JqSkIY6gi-ZqWYyJwa_DbgOBzXrvm3n5tQhfO6QwpUo8Se7IjbEJK4RNqLnyxFolVl2g2RIDJb0Lui9V4cjdyzQgaQ3W-4tKaD8WEymgJR3/s400/pen.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303179600426624898" />
This has been a great week. I have been saying all week "If you are a Realtor in the Tulsa area and you are not making offers, getting contracts, listing property then you must be hiding in a closet." I have written an offer on a half million dollar ranch and negotiated it to a sale. I have written an offer on an east Tulsa home. I have listed an investor home in Claremore.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-37314461098478138362009-02-11T06:56:00.000-08:002009-02-11T07:01:26.472-08:00Back to work<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 266px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyxMKSS1wMT5kjzZSxVmAa0WmGd3wqofKM2ZHMHAlDNYUTKbxgjhiBcsVL7zULs1QdE6ZTo5hO0BoBSUjwgxz89hcNT15HEzLs3kCx7awbzz66GZGfriKuHlgWqBCmgnyt6MFiduqPJabB/s400/b18.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5301554900963751714" />
I just am now getting over the crud. Light rain freezing on the roads. There are a lot of meetings, school and church cancelations. I drove into Tulsa this morning and along the turnpike I saw a herd of about 20 white tail deer and when I reached the Navigation channel I sighted a bald eagle. This is the first bald eagle I have seen in Rogers county. I usually see them near Keystone lake west of Tulsa. I don't know about the "best" part of this, but, unfortunately, when comes to buying real estate in a market shift, like the one we are in now, I do believe that most buyers are letting others do too much of their thinking for them. These other people might include family, friends, and the media. On one hand, a lot of good information can come from these sources. On the other hand, if these are the only real estate information sources people are using, then they're not getting the entire story. More to follow....mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-9766744863163906682009-01-01T08:51:00.000-08:002009-01-01T08:59:02.451-08:00HAPPY NEW YEAR......PEOPLES.<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBWdSet4xw-31ytJDRVy4ceZA8nh7At6mU9m-BBNI3qGR3t_XCI1iO5x9ycXVIFmooxDfNkzmV_9Ka7jEjX4aqI8SzXQ2txMc6dNT1ctMXoIGovXYjPW4wVWdSy2GP2eNFSlFVKZTrQVSv/s400/2009.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5286370694459609362" />
Well 2008 is now history. Now is the time to buy.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-35207146700641384702008-12-28T15:06:00.000-08:002008-12-28T15:14:31.812-08:00Nice weather and lots of sunshine<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 188px; height: 200px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWdQj2DypBBQUbbPTE9ji5JKIiC-3o5qiaVUvPUCYailbZieBbZA4pDUs0qFO_nNTlDjdmp7FgH8CRv2heVRYrC23LV92tFisPuOE4EPJZI_23DGBAwrcqBhzCHumeH6j0yHdHJhMBLuYX/s200/1059_001.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5284983141993059202" />
The weather was nice in Northeast Oklahoma today. Temp was down in the mid-twenties last night. My wife and I stayed up and watched movies until 1am and I slept in this morning. I drove to Chouteau and held our model home open there. I got some paperwork done. Not too many visitors. Worked on a counter off on one of the offers that I wrote yesterday. I hope we get a meeting of the minds.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-23188627217096044112008-12-27T14:49:00.000-08:002008-12-27T14:55:48.966-08:00Been a good day.<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIbEhFQIvrMJ-LgSyiRrXGodlWqw_3QSd8NfKDjr1v5PcHPnNw2KsF2aDw_BjK9j_CSOIQbplq5VGgq_5dzTuavgj_hkn9GwsMnB7TUgR_U1sIaHTVwnxA1qeiaQCZjkBMmg7bqlTMHZB0/s320/100_1797.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5284607108420528082" />
Well yesterday after showing six tracts of land, I wrote and offer on one of the tracts. Today I just slept in. After lunch I was out showing property again with another buyer client and we are submitting an offer. Sales are good and getting better in Northeast Oklahoma real estate and I am enjoying todays weather in the 50's. Oh by the way...this is the blue whale swimming hole on old route 66 in Catoosa Oklahoma.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-89376163864347996312008-12-26T10:17:00.001-08:002008-12-26T10:21:29.258-08:00Friday after Christmas<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEicCk4XDJs0xhzmfyo6ToPfjWof2NbIgGFJxENIY36l-H10v-l07741Q4LpOjbRmb5JM05PhGzacrrgaXdHZA4ESJcy_GO8wJ84BsFZpowHvfMYcHXcW9prvbSIfMmpT2GvPaDD0QYrsXPP/s320/woods.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5284164805054769010" />Spent Friday morning after Christmas out walking land with a potential buyer client and the owner. We walked and located the corner markers. While we were walking we found evidence of beaver cutting trees and found their lodge. There are also a lot of white tail deer on the property as seen by their scrapes. I saw six deer here last week. I still can not believe that it is 66 degrees right now. I love this weather.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-84109888734215772462008-12-25T15:01:00.000-08:002008-12-25T17:13:08.819-08:00Loving this weatherIt is in the 50's today...makes me want to go swimming.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-69193807953525154392008-12-25T09:33:00.000-08:002008-12-25T09:41:09.955-08:00The Reason for Christmas<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 324px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjfwGWS_HY_7bCU0n2vrJ456a_4WSY8x2GsisFmrUaiwBBBlzOsbtHvjWH1cW_CUMb8HDU0aNXdX4dCaa-BSHvXH6E9AERIqn70UVDA41XH6hM2Gm2eGQfAFjHPnZgC7edNi67_hfdrM5XS/s400/babyjesus.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283783820283222066" /> Remember this as you celebrate today.mikethelandmanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/00132886949000710373noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-889998133118889943.post-62466748485495068202008-12-24T16:37:00.000-08:002008-12-24T16:40:08.305-08:00<img style="float:right; margin:0 0 10px 10px;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 297px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2Ki9PDCS5Yi9QKxpN-4kATZkiNKv9IGKl4kS9aMZ1PEr-_s-qn1YJVa6n5YM42DjZadtNFC1QdbXbc-DH0FBzX_iyE0cOTGi9pz0QGd4xRt3WiQrAFEpgcIa-vPuC9CxyMXH7zjier65r/s400/cowboy+christmas.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5283520948166345170" />
Nice day.
